4.1.6.3. Repair of a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew nuts, the fixing yokes, and remove yokes from racks. Arrange yokes so that they could be established on the places.
2. Using the special device for compression of a spring of the valve, squeeze each spring and remove crackers from a valve end face. When the spring of the valve is compressed and the plate of a spring is not removed from crackers, it is necessary to strike with the hammer through wooden whetstone a plate springs that will lead to release of crackers. Remove the device for compression of a spring and take a plate springs, a spring and the valve. Remove maslootrazhatelny caps and the mechanism of turn of the final valve.
3. Each valve you store in a separate plastic bag together with a plate springs, a spring, a nest of a spring and crackers for their further installation on the places.
4. Check a plate of each valve for pointed corrosion, prozhog, cracks and the general wear. Check a valve core for wear and a bend. Check wear of an end face of a core of the valve. With any defects the valve is subject to replacement.
5. Measure by a micrometer diameter of a core of the valve in several places on core length. Any essential distinction in the obtained data indicates wear of a core of the valve and obligatory replacement of the valve.
6. Check a condition of saddles of valves. If they are burned, worn-out or have defects, they need to be replaced. If wear of a saddle of the valve is insignificant, they need to be ground in. Check the directing plugs of valves for wear, inserting into them a core of the valve and moving it to the parties. Movement has to be insignificant. If movement is excessive, take the valve and measure diameter of a core of the valve. If necessary replace the valve. If the core of the valve is not worn-out, so the directing plug which needs to be replaced is worn-out. Replacement of the directing plugs of valves should be made at service station.
7. If saddles of valves have to be pereshlifovana, this operation needs to be executed after installation of new guides of valves.
8. If valves are in satisfactory condition, they have to be inserted into the places and are ground in. If plates of valves or a saddle are strongly worn-out, before their grinding in it is necessary to process mechanically or even to replace.
9. Grinding in of valves is carried out as follows. Establish a head of the block of cylinders by combustion chambers up on wooden whetstones.
10. Grease with paste for grinding in of the place on a plate of the valve and a valve saddle, install the valve on the place and on a plate of the valve establish a sucker with the holder or the handle. Rotating the valve a sucker in different directions, grind in the valve, and it is periodically necessary to lift the valve for redistribution of pritirochny paste.
11. If rough pritirochny paste is used, you make grinding in before emergence of a uniform opaque surface on a saddle of the valve and the valve. Then erase the used composition of paste and repeat process of grinding in with fine paste. You make grinding in before emergence of easy gray and opaque color.
12. Carefully remove traces of pritirochny paste, using the corresponding solvent.
13. Check valvate springs for damage signs.
14. Establish springs to one of end faces on a bed, check a spring axis deviation from the vertical plane and length of springs. In case of damage of one of springs it is necessary to replace all springs in a set.
15. Replace maslootrazhatelny caps irrespective of their state.
16. Carefully examine a head of the block of cylinders on existence of cracks and other damages. In the presence of cracks the head is subject to replacement.
17. Using a metal ruler and the probe, check planeness of the interfaced surface of a head of the block of cylinders.
18. Check purity of openings of supply of oil in racks of yokes.
19. Oil a valve core pure engine and insert the valve into a guide.
20. Lower a maslootrazhatelny cap in fresh engine oil and establish it on a valve core into place, being careful not to damage its working edges. For installation of maslootrazhatelny caps use the special plug.
21. On inlet the valve install the mechanism of turn of the valve.
22. Establish a spring (the drawing at the left) and the top plate of a spring (the drawing on the right).
23. Special adaptation squeeze a valvate spring and establish crackers in dredging of a core of the valve and grease them. Remove the device for compression of a spring. Repeat this operation on other valves.
24. Knock with the hammer through wooden whetstone on a valve core end face in order that all elements of the valve accurately were established on the places.
25. The mechanism of the drive of valves can be installed as on the head removed from the engine and on the head installed on the engine. The only thing that should be meant that the clamps of fastening of yokes should not be put too strongly, otherwise cannot be established pushers.
26. Establish yokes on racks of a head of the block of cylinders.
27. Establish on spherical support of yokes are resistant.
28. Grease a carving of a nut of fastening of a yoke with pure engine oil and screw a nut on a rack so that the blocking part of a nut screwed on on a rack carving.
