4.2. OHC engines
The engine with four cylinders installed cross in a forward part of the car. Coupling and the transmission are located on the left side of the engine. The bent shaft leans on five radical bearings. Persistent half rings are established on the third radical bearing.
Pistons fasten to rods piston fingers with a gap in a rod. Pistons from aluminum alloy have three piston rings – two compression and one oil scraper.
The camshaft located in the top part of a head of the block of cylinders puts a gear belt of the drive in action and operates valves through yokes. Yokes in a point of turn are supported by hydraulic pushers which automatically regulate a gap between the camshaft, a yoke and a core of the valve. Each valve is closed by one spring.
Lubricant of the engine is carried out by the gear oil pump which is located in the cover attached to a forward part of the block of cylinders. The drive of the oil pump is carried out from a bent shaft while the fuel pump (on models with the carburetor) and the distributor of ignition are put in action from the camshaft.
