4.1.3. The repair operations which are not demanding removal of the engine
The following operations can be carried out, without removing the engine from the car:– adjustment of gaps of valves;
– removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders;
– removal and installation of the oil pallet;
– removal and installation of the oil pump;
– removal and installation of asterisks of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism;
– removal and installation of pistons and rods;
– removal and installation of a flywheel;
– removal and installation of the power unit.
