4.1.13. Removal and installation of the camshaft and pushers

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the engine from the car, then remove the oil pallet and asterisks of the mechanism of the drive of gas distribution.
2. If the head of the block of cylinders is established on the engine, weaken nuts of fastening of yokes, turn yokes aside and take pushers. Have pushers so that at installation they rose on the places. If the head of the block of cylinders still is on the engine, turn the engine and put it sideways.
3. Unscrew two bolts (are specified by shooters) fixing the plate fixing the camshaft and remove a plate from the engine.
4. Remove a forward plate of the engine.
5. Being careful, take the camshaft from the block of cylinders of the engine.
6. Take pushers from the block of cylinders and arrange them so that at installation they got up on the places.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of a forward plate of the engine and the block of cylinders of the engine of traces of old laying. Check that the interfaced surfaces were pure and dry.
2. Oil openings for pushers pure engine and establish pushers on the places.
3. Grease necks of bearings of the camshaft with pure engine oil and, being careful, install the camshaft in the block of cylinders of the engine.
4. Establish new laying and a forward plate of the engine and fix an engine plate by two or three bolts of fastening of a cover of the drive, having tightened bolts by hand.
5. Establish the plate fixing the camshaft in a flute of the camshaft and fix it by two bolts.
6. Check that the camshaft rotates easily and smoothly.
7. Establish asterisks and the oil pallet. If the head of the block of cylinders is established on the engine, establish pushers and adjust valvate gaps.
8. Install the engine in the car.
