6.1.11.4.1.2. The accelerated idling turns

Prevention

For adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling it is necessary to use an exact tachometer and the analyzer of exhaust gases.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature. Check turns of idling and maintenance WITH in exhaust gases. If necessary adjust idling turns. Remove the air filter.
2. Install the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns on the second step of a cam of the accelerated idling. Start the engine and, without touching an accelerator pedal, check turns of the accelerated idling.
3. In need of adjustment switch off the engine and remove a cap from the screw (it is specified by an arrow) adjustments of the accelerated idling turns.
4. Check that the screw of adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling is installed on the cam step second from above, then start the engine, without touching an accelerator pedal.
5. Rotating the adjusting screw, establish the required turns of the accelerated idling.
6. If in the course of adjustment of the accelerated turns of idling the radiator fan turned on, stop adjustment and continue only it after switching off of the fan of a radiator.
7. After carrying out adjustment switch off the engine and disconnect a tachometer.
8. Establish the new cap closing the screw of adjustment of the accelerated idling turns.
