13.24.9.1. Removal and installation of a combination of devices

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove the button of a sound signal from a steering wheel and unscrew a steering wheel.
3. Unscrew four screws and remove the top casing of a steering column.
4. Remove decorative caps and unscrew four screws fixing a casing of a combination of devices. Two screws are located above and on one screw in corners of the basis of a casing of a combination of devices.
5. Remove a casing of a combination of devices and disconnect electric sockets from switches.
6. Press a clamp and disconnect a speedometer drive cable from a combination of devices.
7. Unscrew the screw.
8. Remove a combination of devices.
9. Disconnect electric sockets, and in the presence of the economizer – as well a vacuum hose from a combination of devices.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
2. On models with a liquid crystal combination of devices check that the switch of a code of a speedometer is installed in the correct situation (1).
3. On models with tires 175/70 R13 or 185/60 R14 install the switch in situation 1, and on models with tires of other sizes install the switch in situation 2 (marking is applied on the switch).
