4.4.19. Division of the engine and transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the engine and the transmission outside.
2. Remove a starter and the heat-insulating screen.
3. Remove the lower cover of coupling or the hydrotransformer.
4. In engines with the automatic transmission unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) and disconnect the hydrotransformer from a drive plate. At installation it is necessary to use new bolts.
5. Install the piston of the first cylinder in VMT.
6. Unscrew the bolts connecting the engine and the transmission.
7. Disconnect the transmission from the engine.
