13.5.2. Removal and installation of a cable of the lock of a cowl

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. Unscrew a bolt, the fixing bracket holding a cable of opening of the lock of a cowl to a back part of a platform of the lock of a cowl.
3. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove a cable and its fastening.
4. Working in interior of the car, disconnect a cable from the lever of opening of a cowl and a cable cover from an arm.
5. Take a sealing ring of a cable from a partition of a motor compartment and take a cable in a motor compartment.
6. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
7. Adjust the provision of a cable under a bracket of the forward panel so that at the released lever of opening of a cowl the cable had insignificant sagging.
8. Check that the lock of a cowl opens when the assistant pulls for the lever of opening of a cowl.
