12.5. Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross stability

Prevention

At installation it is necessary to use the new nuts fixing the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Unscrew bolts, the fixing ends of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lower levers.
3. Unscrew bolts of fastening of two arms of the stabilizer of cross stability.
4. Take the stabilizer of cross stability through one of wheel arches, if necessary turning a steering wheel.
5. If necessary replace adjusting plugs of the stabilizer of cross stability.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix two arms of fastening of the stabilizer of cross stability, having tightened fastening bolts the required moment.
2. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the stabilizer to the lower lever so that rubber pillows contracted at a certain size (And = 38 mm).
3. For fastening of the end of the stabilizer use new самоконтрящиеся nuts.
4. Lower the car on the earth.
