12:10. Replacement of back springs
Prevention
You make replacements of springs of a back suspension bracket in pairs.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. On cars with the self-leveled back suspension bracket take off pressure in system. |
| 2. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. |
| Hatchback and Sedan |
|
3. Using the special tool, unload the shock-absorber on the one hand of the car for what raise a jack the longitudinal lever (diameter And corresponds to the jack sizes). |
| 4. Unscrew bolts of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber and take the lower part of the shock-absorber from an arm. |
| 5. Lower a jack and remove a spring and rubber buffers. If necessary for extraction of a spring reject the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket down. |
| 6. At installation of a new spring it is necessary to install new rubber buffers. |
| 7. Establish a spring and rubber buffers, then lift the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket and fix the lower part of the shock-absorber. |

8. At installation of conic springs check correctness of an arrangement (it is specified by shooters) extreme top rounds of a spring in a spring support. |
| 9. Similarly replace a spring from the second party of the car. |
| 10. On models with the self-leveled back suspension bracket increase pressure in system to 0,8 bars. |
| Station wagon and Van |
| 11. A jack raise one of longitudinal levers of a back suspension bracket and unscrew a bolt of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber. |
| 12. Lower a jack and repeat this operation on the other side of the car, leaving a jack on the place. |
| 13. Remove springs, if necessary lowering a jack. |
| 14. When replacing the top buffers of a spring paste them into place. |

15. Establish a spring. At installation of conic springs check correctness of an arrangement (it is specified by shooters) the top rounds of a spring. |
| 16. Lift a jack and fix the lower part of the shock-absorber. |
| 17. Rearrange a jack on other party of the car and fix the lower part of the second back shock-absorber. |
| 18. Tighten bolts of the lower fastening of shock-absorbers the required moment. |
| 19. On models with the self-leveled back suspension bracket increase in system pressure to 0,8 bars. |
