8.1.7. Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition
For check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition it is necessary to use a stroboscope.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Check a gap between contacts of the breaker or a corner of the closed condition of contacts of the breaker. |
| 2. For adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition first of all clear adjusting tags on a pulley and a cover and note them white chalk or quick-drying paint. |
| 3. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature, then switch off. |
| 4. Connect the stroboscope sensor to a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder according to the maintenance instruction of a stroboscope. |
| 5. Start the engine on turns of idling and direct a stroboscope to adjusting tags. Tags will seem motionless and if an ignition advancing corner correct, they are combined. |
| 6. If tags are not combined, weaken fastening of the distributor of ignition and, turning it in the parties, combine tags then tighten a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition. |
| 7. Increase engine turns, at the same time adjusting tags have to move from each other. |
| 8. Switch off the engine and disconnect a stroboscope. |
