4.2.18. Lubrication system and system of ventilation of a case

Lubricant of the engine is produced under pressure created by the gear oil pump located from the forward party of the engine.

Oil is sucked in via the mesh filter located in an oil receiver and via the filter comes to canals of the block of cylinders. From there oil arrives to a bent shaft and the camshaft. Bearings of the lower head of a rod are supplied with oil through internal drillings in a bent shaft. To camshaft bearings oil also moves under pressure. Cams of the camshaft and valve are oiled sprayed as well as all other mobile details of the engine.

For normal work of hydraulic pushers of valves oil moves to them under pressure.

The safety valve of pressure is screwed in in the case of the oil pump. The valve is located by Perepuskna in the basis of an oil filter. The sensor of pressure of oil is screwed in in the case of the oil pump.

The system of ventilation of a case is installed on all models, but depending on the engine of system of ventilation cases differ.

The gases which broke from the combustion chamber in an engine case and vapors of oil are delayed through hoses in a head of the block of cylinders. From a head of the block of cylinders crankcase gases move in an inlet collector where they mix up with fresh fuel-air mix and are burned up in the combustion chamber. As a result of it the amount of the harmful substances released into the atmosphere decreases.

For separation of oil from crankcase gases the filter which in case of pollution needs to be washed out in kerosene is installed.

On engines with a smaller volume in system of ventilation of a case there is an oil separator which fastens bolts to the block of cylinders. If necessary remove and clear an oil separator.

On cars with the long term of operation on an internal surface of hoses of system of ventilation the raid is formed. In this case it is necessary to remove a hose of system of ventilation of a case and to clear it.

Periodically check reliability of fastening of hoses and their state as at damage of a hose there can be violations in operation of the engine which reason it is very difficult to find. In the lubrication system of engines with large volume the oil heater is installed. Oil passes through the adapter established between an oil filter and a casing.

The adapter contains the valve of the thermostat which blocks intake of oil to the oil heater before oil warming up. The oil heater is installed before a cooling system radiator.

For access to the oil heater it is necessary to remove a radiator of the cooling system or the forward panel of finishing.
