10.1.6. Replacement of sealing rings

SEALING RING OF THE POWER SHAFT

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install a suitable container under the transmission.

2. Take the internal end of a power shaft from the transmission (see subsection 10.3.2). Do not unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.

3. Using a soft wire, tie the internal end of a power shaft to a body.

4. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, take a sealing ring from the transmission.

5. Clear a nest of a sealing ring.

6. Apply a thin film of lubricant on an external surface of a sealing ring.

7. Using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, install a sealing ring in the transmission.

8. Establish a power shaft.

9. Check oil level in the transmission and, if necessary, bring it to norm.
