6.2.2. Removal and installation of the case of the air filter

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
L models 1,4 and 1,6
1. The case of the air filter is removed in the same way, as well as on models with the carburetor. You watch the corresponding description in subsection 6.1.3.
L models 1,8 and 2,0 with 8 valves
2. Remove the filtering element of the air filter.
3. Disconnect an air inlet pipe, then unscrew screws and remove the case of the air filter from a motor compartment.

Models of 2,0 l with 16 valves
4. Remove an air branch pipe which connects the air filter to the air stream measuring instrument.
5. Unscrew three bolts (two bolts are specified by shooters in the drawing at the left, the third bolt – in the drawing on the right) fixing the case of the air filter.
6. Remove the case of the air filter.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
