6.2.10. Check and adjustment of system of injection of fuel
Check
In system of injection of fuel it is independently possible to check only the main electric chains.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. If normal operation of the engine is broken, first of all check a condition of electric conducting and sockets. Check a condition of the filtering element of the air filter, and also a state and an interelectrode gap of spark plugs. Check passability of hoses of ventilation of a case of the engine and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator. |
| 2. If the engine still works unstably, check a compression in engine cylinders. |
| 3. If there is a suspicion for bad work of a fuel nozzle, clean it. |
| 4. If the engine still works unstably, check elements of system of ignition. |
| 5. If malfunction is not eliminated yet, check integrity of fuses and a condition of electric sockets, and an electrical wiring. On electric sockets there should not be melted-off contacts, moisture, traces of corrosion, dirt and other damages. |
| 6. After conducting independent check address on the specialized station Opel for diagnostics of system of injection of fuel on the special equipment. |

Adjustment
On l models 1,4 and 1,6 in the presence of the special equipment it is possible to check contents WITH in exhaust gases and idling turns. For adjustment it is necessary to address on Opel service station.
On models 1,8 it is possible to make adjustment of turns of idling and quality of mix.
On models 2,0 in the presence of the specialized exact equipment it is possible to check contents WITH in exhaust gases and idling turns. Adjustment needs to be made at specialized service station Opel. If turns of idling or maintenance WITH do not manage to be adjusted, so in a control system of the engine there is a malfunction.
