4.3.15.2. Forward sealing ring of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft in the same way, as well as at removal of the oil pump. It is not required to remove a back casing of a gear belt and pulleys of camshafts. Remove the sealing ring located behind a pulley of a bent shaft.
2. Drill two small openings located in the opposite ends of a sealing ring in a sealing ring. Screw in two self-cutting screws in the drilled openings of a sealing ring and, using flat-nose pliers, extend a sealing ring for heads of screws. Clear a nest for a sealing ring.
3. Dip a new sealing ring into pure engine oil and, using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, establish a sealing ring in a nest at the level with the surface of the block of cylinders.
4. After installation of a new sealing ring apply a thin film of GM 15 04 200/8 983 368 sealant on the surface of the oil pump on which the sealing ring will nestle, then establish an intermediate ring on a bent shaft.
5. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. At installation use a new gear belt.
