3.2.3.3.2. Check and adjustment of limit turns of the engine
DIESEL ENGINE 17DBosch VE TNVD
The procedure of adjustment is provided in subsection 6.3.8. Keep in mind that on TNVD of these engines the adjusting screw of limit turns which is sealed up by a lead seal is provided. After adjustment the screw has to be sealed hermetically up therefore this procedure is recommended to be performed in Bosch car service.
Lucas/CAV TNVD
Limit turns are regulated industrially by installation of the restrictive screw which purpose is described in subsection 6.3.8. It is the screw which is sealed up by a lead seal. In use there is no need to regulate limit turns. However if such need arose, then it is necessary to address specialists of Lucas/CAV.

The description of the procedure of adjustment is provided in subsection 6.3.8. The arrangement of adjusting screws is specified in the drawing.
Keep in mind that on a part of TNVD of these engines the adjusting screw of limit turns is closed by a lead seal. After adjustment the screw has to be sealed hermetically up therefore this procedure is recommended to be performed specialists of Bosch in this type of the equipment.
