3.1.3.2.4. Check of level of oil in the mechanical transmission
Install the car in horizontal position over a viewing hole. Check the level of oil not earlier than in 5 minutes after an engine stop.

1. Clear area around a transmission oil level stopper. The stopper of level of oil is located about the internal hinge of a power shaft on models with engines 1,2, 1,3, 1,4 and late models of 1,6 l on the left side of the transmission, and on other models on the right side of the transmission. |
| 2. Level of oil has to reach bottom edge of an opening under an oil level stopper. |

| 3. If it is necessary to add oil in the transmission, unscrew сапун in the top part of a case of the transmission (the drawing at the left) and add necessary amount of oil through an opening of a sapun until oil does not begin to follow from openings under an oil level stopper (the drawing on the right). |
