3.1.3.2.2. Replacement of the fuel filter on models with system of injection of fuel

Prevention

Gasoline extremely fire - is also explosive therefore it is necessary to show care during the work on any part of fuel system.

Works on fuel system need to be performed in well aired room for what it is possible to open all windows and doors for draft creation.

During the work with fuel system observe purity as the dirt which got to canals of fuel system can block them that will break normal operation of the engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The fuel filter is located under a back part of the car. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and install the corresponding container under the fuel filter.
3. Take off pressure in fuel system. Using clips, press fuel hoses from two parties of the fuel filter, then weaken collars and remove hoses from the fuel filter.
4. Note the arrow arrangement on the case of the fuel filter specifying the direction of a stream of fuel and the inscriptions IN (entrance) and OUT (exit) at end faces of the case of the fuel filter. Unscrew a bolt, the fixing clip of the fuel filter, the screw-driver open a clip and remove the fuel filter.
5. Remove rubber laying from the old fuel filter and install it on the new filter.
6. Install the new fuel filter and fix it by a bolt. At installation be guided by an arrow and tags on the filter case.
7. Connect fuel hoses to the fuel filter and fix them by collars.
8. Start the engine and check fuel system for existence of leaks. In the presence of fuel leak immediately switch off the engine and remove the cause of leak.
