10.2.4. Replacement of the switch of blocking of a starter and lamps of a backing

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. Remove decorative finishing of the lever of the selector.

3. Unscrew two screws fixing the switch.

4. Disconnect a wire, green with a white strip, from the boss of a lamp of illumination of the panel of the selector.

5. Remove an external cover of a plait of wires approximately on 10 cm, then cut a plait of wires.

6. Similarly arrive with a plait of wires of the new switch.

7. Remove the switch.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the new switch and connect wires according to color of isolation of a wire.

2. Isolate connection of wires.

3. Temporarily connect a wire of mass of the accumulator.

4. Include ignition and check that lamps of a backing join only in position of the lever of the selector R, and start of the engine is possible only in situation P and N.

5. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator, then establish decorative finishing of the lever of the selector and connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
