7.5.3. Check and repair of a starter
If there is a suspicion that the starter does not work properly, it needs to be removed from the car and to check in a specialized workshop. The most probable cause of failure of a starter is a wear of brushes which need to be replaced. If capital repairs of a starter are required, it is economically more expedient to get a new starter.
