6.3.9.1. Check and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check adjustment of the valvate mechanism. 2. Install the piston of the N 1 cylinder in the provision of VMT at the time of a compression step. The mark in a pulley of the pump has to be combined with a mark in a pump arm (marks are specified by shooters). 3. Turn a bent shaft of the engine against the normal direction of rotation so that the mark in a pulley was about 5,0 cm more left than mark VMT. 4. Remove a cap from a reverse side of the pump. 5. Install the indicator of hour type (it is specified by an arrow). 6. Again install the piston of the N 1 cylinder in the provision of VMT at the time of a step of compression and compare indications of the sensor to values in subsection 6.3.1.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken bolts of fastening of halves of a pulley of the fuel pump. 2. Turn an internal part of a pulley against the stop counterclockwise. 3. Nullify indications of the indicator and turn an internal part of a pulley clockwise so that the indicator of hour type showed the required value.
