1. Tension to the electric fan of a radiator moves via the lock of ignition, the relay and the fuse. The electric chain of the fan of a radiator is run by the thermal sensor which is installed sideways a radiator. |
2. Check operability of the thermal sensor of the fan of a radiator. The fan has to turn on at excess of working temperature of the engine, that is several minutes prior to an entrance of an arrow of the index of temperature of the engine to the red sector. If the fan does not turn on, remove wires from the thermal sensor, connect them among themselves and include ignition. If the fan starts working after that probably the thermal sensor which is subject to replacement failed. |
3. In case the fan still does not work, check whether tension to the thermal sensor moves. If tension on the thermal sensor is absent, perhaps, wires are damaged or the fuse fused. If tension moves to the thermal sensor, check reliability of connection it with a mass of the car. |
4. If the thermal sensor and an electrical wiring in good shape, then, perhaps, is damaged the radiator fan engine. For check of the electric motor disconnect from it the electric socket and, using additional wires, give tension directly on the engine. If at the same time the electric motor does not work, so it is faulty and it needs to be replaced. |
